I recieved this unit and went straight to installation. i have an 8 foot ceiling and was having trouble with setting it the 30" above the stove. I called kitchenhoods Tech support and they told me that with the design of the hood, frame and covers, the rangehood can be installed a maximum of 28" above the stove if your ceiling height is 84 inches. looking at the materials after that, it all made sence and i was done fairly quickly. the hood preforms very well and the grease is surprisingly easy to clean off of the glass, which was one of my main worries when my wife said she wanted this one. But all is well that ends well, i am satisfied and would recommend kitchenhoods to friends and family. (Posted on 8/27/2015)
