We are proud to offer one of the best return policies in the online business. You may return your purchase for any reason within 14 days after receiving it for an exchange or a refund of the purchase price excluding the shipping costs and 10% restocking fee. Returns after 30 days are subject to 20% restocking fee.

Returns 3 months or more after the purchase date are not acceptable.

Due to continuous innovation, design improvements may result in minor changes to specifications and/or dimensions of items, without notice. If you're considering integrating our products into custom cabinetry or other custom-built kitchen elements, we recommend contacting us prior to purchase in order to ensure compatibility.


Some of our products are offered with FREE SHIPPING, so please be aware that if you return one of these products our actual outbound shipping costs will be deducted from your return refund. In addition some of our items carry a restocking fee which will be deducted from your refund should you wish to make a return.

All returned items must be free from scratches, dents, or any other damages.

All returns MUST HAVE return authorization number from www.KitchenHoods.ca prior to shipment. Original shipping charges are not refundable.

All returns must be in new condition with original packaging material and must be shipped PREPAID at the customer's expense.

All returns must be returned uninstalled, in new condition, packed in the original box with styrofoam panels including all parts, accessories and hardware.

All return shipments will be inspected for any damage/missing parts before an exchange can be processed.

No refund/credit will be issued for any damaged/lost return shipments and returns in other than original packaging.

All replacements and exchanges must be approved by the customer service manager.

How to return Undamaged items within 14 days after delivery?
Please email us or call us stating your intent and reason for your return, providing us with your receipt number, name and the date of the purchase.
If you wish to return a damaged item, see DAMAGES.

Within one business day, you will be given a RETURN authorization number. The customer is responsible to arrange shipping the item/s back to us and pay all return shipping costs.

The customer MUST insure the package. It is your responsibility to file the claim in the event of any damage incurred during return shipping. Within 7 days after we received the items back at the warehouse and inspect them you will receive a refund -your purchase price excluding the shipping costs and 10% restocking fee.

For payments made with PayPal or a Credit Card, credit will be issued directly to that account.

 
Returns from USA
We accept returns on orders that we ship to USA, EXCEPT ALL LARGE ITEMS ( hoods in size 48 and larger). RETURNS OF LARGE ITEMS TO USA ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE. All other orders fall under our Standard Return Policy.

Please note: duties will be refunded, however, all shipping charges, customs duties, brokerage fees, and local taxes, are not refundable.


It is the customer's responsibility to:

1. Consult their ventilation specialist prior to purchase in order to assure that the product will fit its intended application, as well as comply with local building codes and City requirements!

2. Inspect the unit within 14 days after receiving it for physical damages and to ensure proper functionality of the product.

3. Measuring the size hood or sink he/she needs, before placing the order.

4. To be sure the duct size they already have is big enough and at the right location for the hood he/she intent to purchase.

5. Confirm with installer if the item they would like ot purchase will fit their design or application.


NO RETURNS ON:

Installed hoods and sinks, custom cut hoods or custom cut chimneys.

Damaged items not reported within 14 days of delivery.

ALL PARTS PURCHASES ARE FINAL, as they might get damaged during installation.

Items NOT returned in the original packaging with styrofoam panels and any parts, accessories, or hardware are missing.

 

Cancellations:

Most of the time we ship your order the same day you placed it, so if for any reason you decide to cancell your order call us at 604 430 5252 ASAP or send us an email to info@kitchenhoods.ca. 

Please keep in mind that once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order, it will then fall under our standard return policy , where roundtrip shipping costs will be deducted from your refund

Exchanges:

We accept exchanges within the 3 months period. The exchanged product need to be in brand new condition, never installed, free of dents, scratches and installation marks.Must be shipped in the  original box with all

 foam pacaging materials and  parts in the box. Customers are responsible to cover all shipping charges (back and forth),  clearance fees and brokerage charges  if shipped to USA.

 

Rejection of a box for no reason, without contacting us,  will be considered an unauthorized return and both shipping charges and 10% restocking fee will apply.
